A New Identity for web consultancy focused on Financial Industry .
Situation
netRequisite (formerly ForteSoft) came to BigPond Marketing in need of a new identity for the fledgling web
consultancy specializing in building transaction processing systems for high volume financial institutions. They
needed to create a corporate identity that would express their proposition of cutting edge technology with an
image that evoked stability for their conservative banking clientele.The previous name was easily confused
with Forte, a subsidiary of Sun Microsystems, and lacked the inference of robust, dependable systems that the
consultancy strives to provide. The existing logo was crude and unprofessional having been created by the owner himself, lacking the complexityand professionalism inherenet in the company's capabilties.
Solution The final name combined the term "net" to harken to the web-based systems they develop, along with
"requisite" a term familiar to the financial industry and relating to the need for this group's services. The new
logo is cleaner, more sophisticated and visually represents the advanced technical nature of the systems which are at the core of the online financial transaction business. |
